Deep geothermal energy by laser drilling

WHO WE ARE

We are a start-up in the field of renewable energies and have developed a disruptive technology - with enormous macroeconomic impact potential! The globally patented technology is a game changer and will sustainably accelerate the global energy transition.

Our driving force

We are driven by the need to make inexhaustible deep geothermal energy economically viable.

Know-How

We utilise expertise from interdisciplinary fields such as drilling machine technology, geothermal drilling, drill pipe, laser beam and laser lens technology and safety technology when working with lasers. And the experience gained from many years of research in order to be able to drill faster, deeper, more cost-effectively and therefore more efficiently.

Coming Soon

The forthcoming field test will enable us to provide proof of Technology Readiness Level 7, having previously achieved Level 6 through laboratory tests with the Fraunhofer IAPT.

Our potential

Deep geothermal energy has the greatest potential worldwide to replace fossil fuels such as natural gas, crude oil and methane in a timely and CO2-neutral manner. And we have the technology for it!!!

At the end of 2022, the patents filed in 2020 were activated in more than 50 countries around the world!

Laser beam drilling technology guarantees very deep holes almost everywhere in a very short time, e.g. for the construction of deep geothermal power plants.
People and nature worldwide benefit from this!

Clean, CO2-neutral energy can be generated in a decentralised and minimally invasive way..

Coal-fired power stations and nuclear power stations can be switched off.

Base load-capable, green energy is available indefinitely - around the clock, independent of sun, wind and water.

Thermal water at over 140°C is available to supply geothermal energy.

Overall, geothermal heating could reduce global CO2 emissions by over 40 %!

Laser drilling technology is the green solution for the sustainable reduction of global warming.

LIt is the technological key to the cost-effective and decentralised production of CO2-neutral electricity and CO2-free thermal water at over 140°C. Water flows into the U-tube and heats up increasingly as it travels through the depths. The hot water is then extracted from the other opening of the U-tube to heat buildings or produce electricity via a steam turbine.

Laser drilling is THE technology to exceed climate targets. Laser drilling provides cheap and green electricity worldwide - including in developing countries.

Earth energy is available in inexhaustible quantities.

When buildings are heated with geothermal energy, gas and oil become superfluous.

Thanks to the geothermal heat exchanger, the electricity produced by the gravity motor is literally free.

Milestones of the project to date

Switch to laser technology for energy efficiency. First laboratory tests with NASDAQ-listed IPG Photonics Corporation. In December, first test in a quartz quarry with a mobile 9 kW light power laser. Proof of drilling and advance speed of more than 20 metres per hour and a glazed inner tube.

Element Link

Development of the drilling and jacking rods for use with a fibre laser. Realignment of the cryogenic nitrogen tubes to optimise nitrogen removal.

Partnership with the Fraunhofer IAPT in Hamburg and verification of TRL 4 in the laboratory and in field tests. Proof of velocities of up to 50 metres per hour. Optimisation of the nitrogen flow channels through adaptive manufacturing options of the Fraunhofer IAPT. This minimises and optimises the supply of nitrogen into the borehole.

Problem-free melting of 15 different geological rock formations such as basalt, granite or sandstone at a minimum speed of more than 15 metres per hour.
